The Scholarship Entrance Exam is an important and required piece in the 9th-grade admission process at Scranton Prep. We offer partial exam scholarships to the top 35 scores on the exam.
This exam helps Prep to gauge a student’s aptitude and preparedness for the rigor of Scranton Preparatory School. The exam consists of the High School Placement Test (HSPT) five subtest in Vocabulary, Quantitative, Reading, Math and Language as well as an optional essay required for scholarship consideration.
Free Six-Week Tutoring Program
Prep’s National Honor Society students will provide a free six-week tutoring program every fall on the HSPT and optional Essay.
